Help with Hinchliffe 75mm metal figures

Hi there,

I wonder if you could help me?

I have recently discovered a very generous and very old birthday gift from my uncle, received around 1980 or possibly before. At the time I was a very keen modeller, but remember not having the nerve to attempt completion until my skills improved, and were duly packed away.

I have found I am in possession of four Hinchliffe white metal 75mm figure models in as new boxed delivered condition, and have the following model codes: 75/9, 75/16, 75/28 and 75/30 and believe they are various British personnel of various ranks and equipment around the Waterloo period and are indeed quite splendid.

I would be very interested to discover any current commercial value, of my recent discovery, as the quality of the sculpture still seems superb even by today's standards.

Any help or advice would be gratefully received.

Identification and Valuation of Soldiers' Soldiers

I’ve had a couple of emails recently, from Trustees, regarding the Estates of some of my late customers who, regrettably, have gone to meet the Great Soldier Maker in the Sky.

“How do they value the collection”, is often the first question, ......

...and “where do we dispose of it”, is the second one.

So, in answer to question on the Soldiers' Soldiers panel "About" link. Then Identification and Valuation. (Or just click here.)
